The first Pembroke Welsh Corgi to earn a
MACH (Master Agility Champion) title.

MACH4 HIGH FLYER CERIDWEN CD TD
A few thoughts by her owner/trainer/handler, Jane Glier
Ceri was the first Pem to earn a MACH. She completed the title on April 21, 2000 at the
Durham Kennel Club trials in North Carolina. Ceri was five years old at the time. She continued
to run agility for three more years and retired with a MACH4.
Ceri was my first agility dog. Our first trial was in August 1996 and Ceri earned her Novice title
in one weekend with all first placements. That early success hooked me to the sport and we
continued to train and compete at agility trials.
Ceri and I competed at four AKC Agility Nationals and placed 4th in the 8” division in 1999.
It was icing on the cake when our run in the finals was shown on Animal Planet. Another highlight
of Ceri’s career was winning the Agility Challenge Trophy at the PWCCA Agility Trials in 2001.
Note: From the AKC website:
(MACH) Master Agility Champion:

Jumpers With Weaves class.
